The Collins Gals

Turning a hobby into a business has been a great adventure over the last year.  Being one year and three months into this venture, I am so thankful for people who believe in me and allow me to capture special times in their lives.  A mother of a former client told me to expect a call from one of the Collins ladies as she referred them for a Mother/Daughter photo session.  Referrals are one of the best compliments, thank you!

Despite the humidity and little-to-no breeze, these ladies made their photo session a moment to remember.  And Momma Collins is absolutely lovely surrounded by all her girls.

And, of course, her gals were stunning too.

I loved capturing their individual moments together.

And then there are always my favorites of the bunch...
love the laughter <3
love the smiles <3

It was sincerely a fantastic time working with all of you ladies.  Thank you for allowing me to capture your Mother/Daughter moments.  May they be with you always.

The Petree Family

Ah...golden hour.  It is like a halo of light explodes and the sky is filled with yellows and oranges that were never there before.  This is my absolute favorite time to have a session.  No dodging direct sunlight, no hunting for that perfect shade spot, just photograph and let the magic happen.  And with the Petree family, magic was in the air.

My favorite collection from this session is the time I spent capturing Mom and Dad.  They seem to be made for each other.

It doesn't seem like they have aged a bit.  But on the other hand,  their boys are growing like weeds.

This session was full of fun...

and full of love.

Thank you, Petrees, for allowing me to capture these special moments in your lives.  It was my pleasure meeting with all of you!

D.J. & Na-Dia

Working with children has been a big part of my life, well before I took the leap into photography.  I am amazed that as I continue to venture down this road, I can still do what I love--interacting with children.  And here are two of the finest, D.J. and Na-Dia.

I met up with them in Farmington on June 8th, at let me tell you, they were absolutely darling together.

Even in the "I don't want her to kiss me" moments...

With some regrouping, big brother worked things out.  And what a handsome little man he is turning out to be!

And little sis...she is just as sweet as can be!

D.J. and Na-Dia (and of course, Mom), thank you for all your smiles and cooperation, and most of all, for your donation to the Water for Africa fundraiser the week earlier.  Be blessed guys!  I look forward in seeing you both again soon!

The Varacalli Family

There are days when things flow beautifully.  June 8th was one of those days.  As the first session of the day, I was greatly looking forward to meeting up with the Varacalli Family.  And what a gorgeous family of four they are!

Carla recently worked with me on a fundraiser to help get clean water wells to Africa.  I was so honored to help the Varacallis on their way to reach their goal.  In return, they asked me to capture some family moments for them.  It was beyond precious.

Especially the peek-a-boo...

A big thanks to Carla, Ross and the boys.  Good luck with everything and I really do hope you raise all the funds that you need! Be blessed for all that you are doing!

Water For Africa Mini: Babich Puppies

So, so thankful for the people in my life and the puppies too!  This was one of my first "official" sessions with animals and it was a whole lot of fun!  This pair of pups did not mind the camera too much; they really seemed like naturals!  Another big THANK YOU to the Babich Family...including the four-legged members...for your donation to the Water for Africa fundraiser!
