Welcome Baby Kurdziel

This has been a great start to 2014; there are so many newborn sessions coming up!  Here is the first of the year, Baby Kurdziel.  Taken in the natural light studio, this guy loved being captured.  His favorite time was just lounging in the bean bag while sister got her pictures taken too.  Congrats Kurdziel Famiy!

The Expecting Condenis

It has been a grueling winter here in Michigan.  We've endured record breaking totals for snowfall and temperatures this season, along with long stretches of days where we wouldn't see the sun.  But, thankfully having a little patience to get this session in certainly paid off.  Our first rendezvous was fraught with 8 inches of snow, but our second meet turned out fabulously.  Here is a peek into Lauren and Dave's world as they await the arrival of their new little man.

2013: A Year In Review

I cannot even believe we have closed on another year!  Where has the time gone?  I am amazed by all the lives that have touched mine in 2013 and I am so excited for the start of this next year.   I am floored by the reception that Simply Portrayed has received and I am anxiously waiting to see what 2014 has to offer.

I have loved watching all of my clients grow from 2012 and have thoroughly taken to heart each and every new family, couple, child or pet that I have met and worked with in 2013.  It is because of you all that I continue to press through and do what I do.  I am in love with capturing your memories and find it a complete honor that you trust me to do so.

2014 is going to be an amazing year, I know it!  Simply Portrayed will be ready to share some exciting news in the next couple weeks, from redesign to welcoming new hands on deck.  Thank you to everyone who has supported this venture.  I truly could not be here today without you.  From family to friends, from clients to referrals, you all have made a difference in this business and for that I am eternally grateful.  I wish everyone the best in this coming year and I look forward to capturing many more memories.
